Welcome to the White Lake Area Boy Scouting website. My name is Bob Pachman and I am the Unit Commissioner for the four chartered Boy Scout units in this area. These include 2 Cub Scout Packs (boys ages 7-11), a Scout Troop (boys ages 11-18), and a Venturing Crew (co-eds ages 14-21). We encompass approximately a 10 mile radius from White Lake near Whitehall, Michigan.

Our goal is to develop in youth citizenship, service, and leadership skills. We utilize an outdoor camping program developed over a period of close to 100 years by the Boy Scouts of America. We are very proud to have a such an active program serving over 100 White Lake area youth! Please browse our website and enjoy some photos of our past adventures.

Paul Christensen - Scoutmaster, Troop 1048

Boy Scout Troop 1048 has been in existence for over 50 years. We are chartered by Lebanon Lutheran Church in Whitehall, MI. We are a very active troop, averaging at least one campout per month. We hike, bike, camp in all four seasons, attend international camporees, as well as many other activities. We have our meetings on Sundays at 5:00 PM at Lebanon Lutheran Church in Whitehall.

We have over 43 scouts and 40 adults that are active. We are involved in both the Montague and Whitehall communities. We work closely with Cub Scout Packs 4043 (Montague) and 4048 (Whitehall) and their events.
