Hot Chili for a Cool City III Mark your calendars for this FUNdraiser to benefit downtown Whitehall beautification! Continued efforts are in the works for another City of Whitehall beautification fundraiser. The flower baskets and planters each year look lovely but we'd like a little more floral explosion yet again this year.
The chili tasting "Hot Chili for a Cool City III" is a celebration with several veteran Chili-Masters. Steve Mayberry of Mayberry BBQ will serve up a delicious alligator chili along with chili favorites from Pub One Eleven and Pekadill's who will be among the local establishments joining in the fun. Delicious chili trimmings and desserts will be prepared by Jean Corsi of the Corner House of Gifts. This fun and social event has been such a hit the past few years, the event planners are preparing for another successful event with a great turn out!
The fundraiser will be Saturday February 25th, 2012 beginning at 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. or "until the chili's gone." The event will be held at Pub One Eleven with a cost of $8.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 12 and under. Live entertainment will liven up the crowd as they enjoy reuniting with neighborhood friends. The entire community is invited to come on out for a fun evening for a good cause!
