The Book Nook & Java Shop is also a popular, wireless cafe that is located in downtown Montague, within walking distance of many of the marinas and campgrounds at the North end of White Lake.

The store offers everything from the top 100 bestsellers and most popular to previously read books. You can also enjoy an espresso drink, smoothie, healthy wraps, salads and soups along with bakery items.

Need to send or check email? The Book Nook & Java Shop offers high speed internet access along with a business center that includes a copier and fax machine. Your computer or ours!

There is always something going on at The Book Nook & Java Shop in downtown Montague. Wake up and enjoy your morning paper while listening to live music every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning from 9am-12pm. Live music with very talented local musicians can be heard on Friday and Saturday evenings also from 6p-8pm. Open Mic Night is the last Saturday of every month where you'll experience guitar, vocals, poetry, storytelling and more.

Author signings are not unheard at The Book Nook... The Book Nook has had the pleasure of Garrison Keillor more than once, Diane Rehm, Judith Guest, Steve Hamilton, Michael Perry, Steve Amick and many more.
