2009 Youth Sailing Classes
Who: No lower age limits, however, all students must pass swim test that includes prolonged treading water. Upper age cutoff is 18.

What: The classes teach sailing appropriate for the ages of the students in both classroom and on the water settings that involves practical hands on experience in sailing school boats. Our experienced, certified instructors teach in conjunction with a program that has been running on White Lake for over 80 years.

Where: On the waters of White Lake at the White Lake Yacht Club.

When: Classes will begin the week of June 22nd and run through August 22nd. Beginners, intermediate and advanced classes are offered during this time. Racing clinics will be held through the season. Lessons are scheduled in 2 hour blocks, twice a week. It is recommended that students enroll for a 2 week session in order to maximize their learning experience. Check availability as the number of students per session is limited.

Fees for the 2 week program: $125 beginners and intermediate, $150 advanced.
